Indian filmstar initiates Buddhist pilgrimages to Sri Lanka.
Indian filmactor famous for playing the role of Prince Siddhartha in the film ’Sri Siddhartha Gautama, ’ Gagan Malik initiated a pilgrimage of Indian Buddhists to Sri Lanka. The versatile actor and Buddhist activist called on Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena with 65 Buddhist pilgrims from Maharatshtra, Madhya Pradesh and Telengana at the Temple Trees in Colombo on Wednesday (September 4).
