The Sinhala news release on Prime Minister entitled “අගමැතිනි හරිනි මැදියම් රැයේ මෛත්රී එක්ක රනිල් බලන්න ඇවිත්" published on August 25, 2025, on the official website, official Facebook page, and other media platforms of the Hiru Media Network, is completely false and a letter requesting an immediate correction of this news report, sent by Prime Minister’s Secretary Mr. Pradeep Saputhanthri to Mr. Reno Silva, Chairman of Hiru Media Network, is also attached herewith.
