The Golden Inmediens 2023 Entrepreneurship Gold Award ceremony for the entrepreneurs in the field of indigenous medicine was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena on 19.03.2024 at Waters Edge, Battaramulla.
According to the concept of State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Sisira Jayakodi, this entrepreneurship award ceremony was organized for the appreciation of entrepreneurs in the field of indigenous medicine, and promoting them both locally and internationally, by the Sri Lanka Ayurveda Promotion Private Company under the guidance of the State Ministry of Indigenous Medicine, Department of Ayurveda, and Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation.
Awards were presented to 60 outstanding persons representing the fields of education, treatment, medicine production and services, including entrepreneurs who contributed to the strengthening of the national economy in the field of tourism by maintaining patient care services in the national medical field by making a great contribution to the national health services.
Ministers Nimal Siripala, Mahinda Amaraweera, Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, State Ministers Attorney at Law Sisira Jayakidy, Janaka Wakkumbura, and Seetha Arambepola, Additional Secretaries of the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine Chandana Thilakaratne and Shammi Denawatta, Commissioner General of Ayurveda Dhammika Abeygunawardhana, Chairman of Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation Anura Athulathmudali, and a group of key entrepreneurs related to the field of Ayurveda, participated in this event.
