The donation of school equipment, desks and chairs required by school children of Avissawella, who were affected by the floods, was carried out at Eswatta South Kanishta Vidyalaya under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and with the participation of MP Yadamini Gunawardena.

Due to the floods and landslides that occurred in last May, the people of Sitawaka were greatly affected and scool children’s books and educational equipment were also damaged.

A group including the Sithawaka Divisional Secretary participated in this event.
